Novabelle is a pop-vocalist known for her soulful voice as well as her fun-loving performances. Despite having turned professional only a year ago, she has already earned regular gigs at venues including Switch by Timbre, Obar, Red Dot Brewhouse, J Bar @ M Hotel, and been regular subs at venues such as Hood Bar. Leading up to her professional career, she was the winner of the AXN Regional song-writing contest in 2013 and won a trip to Hollywood, where she “clinched the coveted spot with her rich vocals”, as reported by Television Asia. In 2015, she also performed at the prestigious International Samba Festival in Coburg (Germany) as the Lead Vocalist of local Samba-Afro percussion band, Sambiesta. Unlike most Singaporean millenials, she also has a strong passion for Cantopop, and is best known for her self-translated Cantopop cover of local national day song “Home”.
