Meryl is a sought after singer for weddings and events and specialises in jazz singing on top of other styles like pop and bossa nova.
Meryl’s striking presence and soaring vocals has earned her a spot as the lead vocalist of the Singapore Jazz Orchestra and her vocals shine on emotional ballads, while her abilities to swing and scat allow her to take on high octane bebop and swing tunes.
Meryl also interprets English and Mandarin Pop songs well and has performed at prestigious performance venues like the Esplanade venues (Esplanade Hall, Concourse, Esplanade Waterfront and Outdoor Theatre), Mandarin Gallery, Marina Floating Platform, Keppel Bay and many top hotels in Singapore.
Meryl is also a prolific recording artiste, having done recordings for Youth Olympic Games 2010, Asian Youth Games 2009, and also Chingay 2009. She also assisted Cultural Medallion winner Iskandar Ismail in vocal backups for his songs. Her most recent appearance is on Channel 5’s talent search show – The Final One, where she emerged as one of the top 4 finalists.
