Charles “Stitch FM” Wong is a Singapore-based singer, beatboxer, guitarist, and bilingual emcee, best known as one half of the live music duo AnchorBlanc. He first rose to prominence after placing 4th in Singapore Idol 3, marking the start of his career as a dynamic live performer. Known for his high-energy performances, Charles combines vocals, guitar, and live beatboxing to create the sound of a full band within an acoustic setup. His versatility has earned him the nickname “the Swiss Army Knife” of AnchorBlanc, as he seamlessly switches between singing, emceeing, beatboxing, and instrumental performance on stage. Over the years, Charles has performed for more than 100,000 audiences, opened for international acts such as Kanye West and The All-American Rejects, and appeared in commercials for brands including Pizza Hut, Pokka, Eversoft, and Tiger Beer. He has also served as a judge for singing and beatboxing competitions and performed for Singapore’s former President S.R. Nathan. In addition to performing, Charles is an experienced music educator who has taught over 12,000 students in guitar, singing, and beatboxing. As part of AnchorBlanc, he regularly performs at weddings, corporate events, and large-scale functions, delivering energetic bilingual sets across pop, evergreen classics, and contemporary hits.
